About FatPig Peptides
Who are FatPig Peptides?
FatPig Peptides is a UK supplier of premium research peptides, committed to delivering exceptional product quality, independent laboratory verification and outstanding customer service.
Our philosophy is built on three principles: Quality. Transparency. Trust.
Every batch we supply is independently tested before release, every product is supported by a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, and every customer receives honest, knowledgeable support from a UK-based team.
Where are you based?
FatPig Peptides is proudly based in the United Kingdom, with all UK orders dispatched from our UK distribution centre for fast, reliable delivery.
Are peptides legal to purchase in the UK?
Yes.
Research peptides can legally be purchased within the UK for legitimate laboratory and scientific research purposes.
All products supplied by FatPig Peptides are clearly labelled For Research Use Only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
Why choose FatPig Peptides?
At FatPig Peptides, we believe trust is earned through transparency, not marketing claims.
Every batch undergoes independent laboratory verification before it reaches our customers.
Every product is backed by:
- Independent HPLC Purity Testing
- LC-MS / Mass Spectrometry Identity Confirmation
- LAL Endotoxin Testing
- ICP-MS Heavy Metal Screening
- Batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
Our mission is simple, to supply research peptides that meet the highest standards of quality, consistency and transparency.
Product Quality & Testing
How do I know your peptides are genuine?
Every batch supplied by FatPig Peptides is independently analysed before release.
Each Certificate of Analysis confirms:
- Peptide identity
- Peptide purity
- Batch number
- Laboratory test results
- Date of analysis
This allows every customer to verify exactly what they are purchasing.
Why is purity important?
Purity refers to the percentage of the desired peptide contained within a sample.
Higher purity means fewer unwanted synthesis by-products, providing greater consistency and reliability for research applications.
We only release products that meet our strict internal quality standards.
What testing do you perform?
Quality at FatPig Peptides goes far beyond purity testing.
Depending on the product, our quality assurance programme includes:
- HPLC Purity Analysis
- LC-MS Identity Confirmation
- LAL Endotoxin Testing
- ICP-MS Heavy Metal Analysis
This comprehensive testing programme provides researchers with complete confidence in every batch supplied.
Where do your peptides come from?
We work exclusively with carefully selected manufacturing partners who operate under recognised quality systems.
Every batch is independently verified before entering our inventory.
We never rely solely on manufacturer documentation; independent laboratory testing provides the assurance.
Storage & Stability
How should unopened peptides be stored?
For optimum stability, lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored in a freezer at approximately -20°C.
Where this isn’t possible, short-term refrigerated storage is acceptable, although prolonged exposure to room temperature should be avoided.
Proper storage helps preserve peptide integrity throughout its shelf life.
How long do unopened peptides remain stable?
When stored correctly at approximately -20°C, most lyophilised research peptides remain stable for up to 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Each vial displays its batch number and expiry date for complete traceability.
How should reconstituted peptides be stored?
Once reconstituted, peptides should be refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C and protected from direct light.
For optimum stability, we recommend using reconstituted peptides within approximately 28 days, although this may vary depending on the individual peptide.
Can peptides be frozen and thawed repeatedly?
Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided wherever possible as they may reduce peptide stability.
Researchers intending to use peptides over longer periods often prepare smaller aliquots during reconstitution to minimise repeated temperature changes.
